A Festival of Poland
The Polish Community of London, Ontario is very excited to announce that on Saturday, September 12, 2009 a Festival of Poland will be taking place at the Covent Garden Market in downtown London, Ontario.
Poland is a nation endowed with a rich and colourful tapestry of culture and customs that has maintained its identity for more than 1,000 years. Over the centuries her children have found themselves all over the world, where they have made significant contributions and have added to the unique character of the land. And in whichever new land they have called home, Poles have taken with them their traditions and their love of life and food. It is this love of life and food that the Polish Canadian Congress London District and the Polish Community of London would like to share with all Canadians.
